You have my admiration! I still think that some of the best laughs and delightfully satisfying examples of Defoe's incongruities are to be found in her gratingly insincere confessions, but to each their own I suppose! However, I can get behind Moll having stayed with her brother-husband; she'd already made some kids with the man, what harm is there in a few more? Sheesh.
